Hamptons Summer Home

Two years after we completed their Tribeca Loft, a pair of our favorite clients asked us to design their new five-bedroom, 6,500 square foot, summer home in Bridgehampton. We were delighted to work together again.

They brought us inspiration images from trips to Tulum and Bali, along with photos of Aman Resorts. Then granted us a tremendous amount of control and trust, from sweeping early decisions (a new floor finish approved during the first walk-through) to the tiniest final details (unique sets of accessories for all seven bathrooms), and everything in-between. Throughout the home, we integrated natural materials like jute, linen, grasscloth and raw wood, along with family-friendly finishes.

Our favorite part of the project, was transforming an overlooked vestibule on the second floor into a sea-glass blue home library designed to hold our client’s treasured book collection.
